Product Description:
Dodson & Horrell Electrolytes is a powder supplement containing a blend of electrolyte salts, specifically designed to replace the nutrients and electrolytes lost through heavy sweating in horses and ponies. It is recommended primarily for horses sweating heavily during hard work, but is also suitable for use in hot weather or for horses that sweat while travelling. Suitable for performance horses in regular competition, horses on a maintenance ration, and those needing extra support during and after endurance work.

Composition:
Sodium chloride, calcium gluconate, magnesium sulphate, dextrose, potassium chloride.

Feeding Recommendation:
Feed at a rate of 12g per 100kg bodyweight per day. As a guide, feed a 200-400kg pony approximately 0.5-1 scoop per day, and a 400-600kg horse approximately 1-1.5 scoops per day (scoop enclosed = 50ml/50g). Can be added to a feed or mixed into water at a rate of 1 scoop per 2.5 litres to provide an isotonic oral rehydration solution; for best effect, feed within 2 hours of sweating or hard work. Always provide access to plenty of clean, fresh water alongside feeding.
