A short-bladed garden knife shaped for harvesting, with a profile that lets the blade be pushed down beside a spear or stem and drawn through to cut below ground level.
The same shape suits general kitchen garden harvesting, cutting cabbages, leeks and salad crops at the base rather than pulling them.
