CDM describe this as a traditional formulation combining pine tar oil with mineral oil, and anyone who has been around yards for a while will know it by the smell before they see the bottle. Brushed over the entire hoof it gives an immediate show-ring shine and helps maintain healthy hooves.
The 500ml is the smallest of three sizes, and CDM put its life at up to two months with regular use, which makes it the sensible bottle for one or two horses. A note on the old store copy: it described the oil as antibacterial, and CDM make no such claim.

How to Use
- Pick out and brush the hoof clean; oil brushed over mud does nothing.
- Apply with a hoof brush to the entire hoof for an immediate shine.
- Cover the wall, and take the brush round the coronet band and the heels.
- Re-apply regularly rather than heavily; CDM's two-month figure assumes regular use.
