Carr & Day & Martin Dreamcoat – 1 Litre
Dreamcoat is CDM's top coat finish, sprayed as a fine mist over the body, mane and tail and then brushed to polish. It produces a high gloss with no grease and no residue, and it is the definition it brings out — the way light falls across a well-muscled quarter — that separates it from an ordinary sheen spray.
The litre is the middle of three sizes CDM list, and it is the one that makes sense for a show season or a yard rather than a single turnout. The formula is unusual among coat shines in being non-slip, which is why CDM allow it over the saddle patch.
Performance & Benefits
- Produces the ultimate high gloss, non-greasy finish, leaving no grease or residue behind.
- Non-slip formula, so CDM state it can be applied over the saddle patch.
- Highlights muscle definition, which is the first thing a judge's eye picks up.
- Can be applied to the mane and tail before plaiting so the hair runs through the fingers.
- A litre covers a show season, or a yard of horses, rather than one outing.
Suitable For
- Show, dressage and in-hand turnout where a deep shine is wanted.
- Horses in hard work whose muscle definition is worth showing off.
- Manes and tails about to be plaited.
- Yards and professional producers getting through coat shine in quantity.
- If you prepare one horse occasionally, the 500ml trigger bottle is the more practical size.
How to Use
- Groom the horse and get the loose dirt off first; a shine spray is a finish, not a cleaner.
- Spray the fine mist evenly over the body, mane and tail.
- Brush over the coat to polish it up.
- Unlike most coat shines, this one may be used on the saddle patch — CDM state the formula is non-slip.
Specification
- 1 litre. CDM list Dreamcoat in 500ml, 1 litre and 2.5 litre.
- SKU 1006540, barcode 5021544201314.
- CDM publish no ingredient list, percentages or coverage figure for Dreamcoat, so none is stated here.
- CDM make no hazard statement and give no FEI or BHA position for this product.
