Stockholm Tar is the heavy end of the Carr & Day & Martin hoof range: a natural, thick vegetable tar that seals, waterproofs and protects damaged areas of the hoof. It goes on with a brush or a spatula rather than a dauber, because it is far thicker than a hoof oil, and CDM state it protects immediately on application.
Where the Cornucrescine products are daily dressings for the whole foot, this one is aimed at the frog, the sole and any part of the wall that has broken away. The 455ml tub is the only size CDM list, and it lasts a long time because you are spot-treating rather than painting the whole hoof.

How to Use
- Pick the foot out and brush it clean, and let it dry before you start.
- Apply directly with a brush or spatula to the area of the hoof that needs it.
- It protects immediately; re-apply as required.
- Tar is black and sticky — keep it clear of rugs, bandages and clothing.

If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.
