The recipe itself is unchanged from the small bag — 26% fresh duck, 14% hydrolysed pheasant protein, 34.0% crude protein of which 75.0% comes from animal sources, and 3,830 kcal/kg. Grain-free and potato-free, with glucosamine and chondroitin worked into the kibble rather than sold separately.

Feeding

• Carnilove's daily amounts for an adult dog: 5kg 95g, 10kg 160g, 15kg 220g, 20kg 270g, 25kg 320g, 30kg 370g.
• Larger dogs: 40kg 460g, 50kg 540g, 60kg 620g, 70kg 695g, 80kg 770g, 90kg 840g.
• Split the daily amount into two or three meals rather than one.
• Serve dry, or moistened with lukewarm water if your dog prefers it.
• Change over gradually across seven to ten days, mixing an increasing share into the old food.
• Fresh water at all times — a dog eating only dry food drinks considerably more.
