Miscanthus is a tall perennial grass grown as a dedicated crop rather than collected as the by-product of something else. Bedsoft grow theirs on their own and neighbouring farms, chop it and bale it tightly, and it is the strong fibrous stalks that give the bedding both its structure and its absorbency.
Bedsoft describe it as ultra-absorbent, soaking up moisture fast and locking it away to keep beds drier for longer, and it is dust-extracted for a cleaner stable. It spreads well into a soft, supportive bed, and afterwards it is fully biodegradable and quick to compost — which matters if your muck heap has to be turned round rather than carted away.

How to Use
- Lay a deeper bed than you would with shavings when first converting, then reduce as you learn the rate.

Delivery Attempts and Notifications
If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.
