Bartleby Ladies Funky Welly Sock – Hedgehog, Size 4–7

A hedgehog is about as reliable a subject as a British sock design gets, and this is Bartleby’s version of it on a full-length welly sock in UK 4–7. The length matters more than the picture: a welly sock is knitted to finish above the top of a rubber boot so the rim never lands on bare calf.

This is one of the heavier socks Bartleby make, in the same weight as the Garden Robin and Bumble Bees designs. It is worth trying with the boots you already own before assuming it will fit, because a wellington sized over a thin sock can be tight with a welly sock inside it.

How to Use

• Draw the sock right up the calf before the boot goes on, not after.
• Make sure the heel of the sock sits in the heel of the foot.
• Machine wash with like colours and keep it out of a hot tumble dryer.
• Line dry, and let the boots dry out separately.
