Ancol Heritage Vintage Leather Lead – Chestnut, 1m x 2.2cm
The Heritage Vintage lead is Ancol's real leather lead in chestnut brown, made to go with the padded Vintage collars. This is the wider 2.2cm version, 1m long and rated by Ancol for dogs up to 50kg.
Ancol also make a narrower 1.2cm lead for dogs up to 20kg, but the 2.2cm strap gives a fuller grip for medium and large dogs. It pairs with the chestnut Heritage Vintage padded collars, which we stock in sizes 3 to 7.

- Not ideal for a dog that swims on most walks, as repeated soaking is hard on leather. A nylon lead copes better with water.
How to Use
- Clip the trigger hook to your dog's collar or harness ring and check it has closed fully.
- Hold the handle loop and keep a little slack in hand, so you can shorten up quickly if you need to.
- Wipe off mud after a walk, and let the lead dry naturally if it gets wet.
- Treat the leather with a suitable conditioner once a year and store the lead somewhere dry.

Care & Caution
- Leather is a natural, porous product. If it gets wet, some of the natural dye may run.
- Do not saturate the lead. If it does get soaked, let it air dry naturally and never use heat to speed it up.
- Treat with a leather conditioner once a year to keep it in good condition.
- Check the stitching and trigger hook regularly, and replace the lead if either shows wear.

Delivery Attempts and Notifications
If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.
