Ancol Snug Fit Polar Fleece Dog Coat Camel Large

Ancol Snug Fit Polar Fleece Dog Jumper – Camel, Large (50cm back)

In the large size, Ancol's Snug Fit Polar Fleece jumper has a 50cm back length and opens up to a 70–92cm chest, with ribbed sleeves and a hook-and-loop fastening down the spine. Camel is a warm sandy brown that suits most coat colours.

This camel large is cut for a 50cm back length and a 70–92cm chest girth, which fits many springer spaniels, border collies and Staffordshire bull terriers. There is no waterproof layer, so think of it as warmth for dry, cold days, or as a layer under a waterproof coat.

Performance & Benefits

• Soft polyester fleece that keeps out the chill without weighing your dog down.
• Stretchy ribbed sleeves and chest give a snug fit without restricting movement.
• Hook-and-loop fastening along the spine for quick fitting and removal.
• Reflective edging for visibility on early-morning and evening walks.
• Light and comfortable enough for everyday wear.
• Machine washable in cool water.

Suitable For

• Dogs with a back length of about 50cm and a chest girth of 70–92cm.
• Many springer spaniels, border collies and Staffordshire bull terriers. Always measure rather than going by breed.
• Thin-coated, clipped, elderly or convalescing dogs that feel the cold.
• Wearing under a waterproof coat on wet winter days.
• Other sizes: S (30cm back, 54–68cm chest), M (40cm back, 58–72cm chest), XL (60cm back, 74–96cm chest).

How to Use

• With your dog standing, measure the back from the base of the collar to the base of the tail. Then measure the girth around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
• Guide the front legs into the sleeves, lay the jumper along the back and close the hook-and-loop fastening down the spine.
• Check your dog can walk, sit and lie down freely and that the sleeves do not pinch under the front legs.
• Take the jumper off once your dog has warmed up indoors, and whenever it gets wet.

Care & Caution

• Hand wash or machine wash in cool water and air dry naturally. Do not tumble dry or dry on a radiator or other direct heat.
• Fleece soaks up rain. Take the jumper off once it is wet, because a damp layer chills a dog faster than none.
• Check it regularly for wear and stop using it if it is damaged.
• Remove it before leaving your dog crated or alone, in case the fastening or sleeves catch on something.
