Ancol Heritage Delilah Deer

Ancol Heritage Delilah Deer – 37cm

Delilah is the long-limbed one — 37cm of plush deer from Ancol's Heritage Collection, built firm enough to keep her shape but soft enough to be dragged off to a bed. Long legs are the reason dogs pick her up: there is something obvious to grab, and she flops satisfyingly when shaken.

She has both a squeaker and crinkle material inside, so there are two different noises to find, and several fabric textures over the body. The filling is 100% recycled stuffing and she washes at 30°C. Like the rest of the Heritage range, she is made for carrying and cuddling rather than for chewing to pieces.

Performance & Benefits

• 37cm long, with limbs that give a dog something easy to pick up and shake.
• Squeak and crinkle together, so there are two sounds to hunt for.
• Multiple fabric textures for added sensory interest.
• Soft fabric holds a familiar scent, which is much of what makes a favourite toy a favourite.
• Filled with 100% recycled stuffing.
• Machine washable at 30°C. CE marked, and supplied in widely recyclable, plastic-free packaging.

Suitable For

• Dogs that carry, shake and sleep with a soft toy.
• Gentle mouthing and noise-driven play indoors.
• Dogs that prefer a larger toy with limbs to a compact ball shape.
• Puppies and older dogs, under supervision.
• Not for heavy chewers — Ancol do not recommend the Heritage toys for destructive chewing. The Ancol Tough Super Barbell Plate and the Ancol Tough Baton are the rubber toys we stock for those dogs.

How to Use

• Give her for supervised carrying, cuddling and gentle squeaky play indoors.
• Machine wash at 30°C. Do not tumble dry; allow her to air dry fully before returning her to your dog.
• Check the seams, particularly where the legs join, each time she comes out of the wash.
• Take her away at the first split rather than after it becomes a hole.

Specification

• 37cm long. Deer shape, plush, with multiple fabric textures.
• Internal squeaker plus crinkle material.
• Filled with 100% recycled stuffing. CE marked.
• Machine washable at 30°C, do not tumble dry.
• Ancol product code 991564, from The Heritage Collection.
• Ancol publish the filling as 100% recycled but give no composition for the outer fabric, so none is stated here.

Care & Caution

• Not indestructible, and not a chew toy. Dogs should always be supervised during play.
• Check regularly for signs of wear and remove her immediately if she is damaged or if parts become detached — stuffing, squeakers and crinkle film can all be swallowed and cause a blockage.
• Thin limbs are the first thing to go on a toy like this. Watch the leg seams especially.
• Do not tumble dry, and make sure she is dry through before she goes back to the dog.
