Ancol Dalmatian & Zigzag Reversible Dog Harness Small

Ancol Soho Dalmatian & Zigzag Reversible Harness – Small, 27–49cm

The small covers a 27–49cm girth, a 22cm span that is the most forgiving in the range, and it is the size that suits a dog still filling out — a young cocker, a small poodle cross, a whippet puppy. One harness carries both Soho prints: the pale pink Dalmatian with black spots on one face, the black Zigzag with pale pink zigzags on the other, so it reverses rather than coming as a pair.

Construction is 100% recycled fabric, lightweight and weatherproof, and Ancol state each harness keeps four plastic bottles out of landfill. The wide adjustment is worth using properly: set the straps once with a tape measure rather than by eye, and the small will follow a growing dog through several months.

Performance & Benefits

• Adjustable 27–49cm girth — the widest span of the sizes stocked here.
• One reversible harness, two prints: Dalmatian spots or zigzags, your choice each walk.
• 100% recycled fabric; four plastic bottles diverted from landfill per harness, on Ancol's figures.
• Lightweight, so it does not weigh down a slight-framed dog.
• Weatherproof for wet grass, drizzle and general British weather.
• Plastic-reduced, widely recycled packaging.

Suitable For

• Dogs measuring 27–49cm around the chest, just behind the front legs.
• Small breeds and growing puppies of medium breeds.
• Owners who want to change the look without buying a second harness.
• Pairing with the Ancol Dalmatian Pattern Dog Lead or the Ancol Zigzag Pattern Dog Lead to match whichever side is out.
• A girth in the 27–38cm overlap could also take the Ancol SOHO Dog Harness – Dalmatian & Zigzag Pattern (XS); above 49cm, step up to the Ancol Dalmatian & Zigzag Reversible Dog Harness Medium at 35–60cm.

How to Use

• Measure the chest just behind the front legs and confirm the figure lands inside 27–49cm.
• Choose which print is facing out, then thread the straps the same way each time so nothing twists.
• Adjust for two fingers of clearance under every strap, and re-check after a groom.
• Attach the lead to the harness ring rather than the collar.
• Ancol give no washing instructions for these harnesses, so sponge clean and air dry rather than machine wash.

Specification

Care & Caution

• Re-check the girth setting weekly on a growing dog; a harness set loose can be backed out of.
• Take the harness off indoors and between walks — it is not something to leave on a dog that chews.
• Do not fit it with straps twisted after reversing; lay it flat and check before it goes on.
• Inspect buckles, the lead ring and the stitching around it before each walk.
