Ancol SOHO Daisy Dog Collar – Medium, 30–50cm

The Daisy collar is Ancol's bright blue SOHO webbing printed with hand-drawn white daisies, and this is the middle of the three sizes: 30–50cm of adjustment on a band 2cm wide. That covers most spaniels, border collies, beagles and the larger terriers, and it is the size to move to once a puppy has outgrown the small.

The webbing is 100% recycled and the collar is made in the UK, so the print sits on a band that has already had one life as plastic bottles. It is weather-resistant rather than delicate — rain, mud and a 30°C machine wash are all within its remit.

How to Use

• Measure round the base of the neck with a soft tape and allow room for two fingers.
• Slide the adjuster until that two-finger gap is right, then check it again after a week of wear as the webbing settles.
• Check the fit daily on a growing puppy — 30–50cm spans a lot of growing.
• Machine wash at 30°C, do not tumble dry, and let the collar air dry fully before it goes back on the dog.

Care & Caution

• Check the fit daily and keep a two-finger gap between the collar and the neck.
• Inspect the webbing and the buckle for fraying or cracking, and replace the collar if you find either.
• A collar is not a chew toy. Take it off if your dog works at it, and never leave a damaged one in use.
