Ancol Obedia 40mm Awareness Lead – Nervous, Yellow
A yellow lead printed NERVOUS along its length tells other walkers, before they reach you, that your dog needs a calm approach and more room. This is the wide version from Ancol's Obedia training range: 40mm webbing, 1.5m long, made in the UK from recycled material.
Yellow is widely recognised as the colour for a dog that needs space, and the bold lettering makes the message easy to read at a distance. The lead helps other people help you, but it cannot guarantee they will, so keep your own distance from other dogs and people where you can.
Performance & Benefits

- Extra-wide 40mm webbing for visibility and strength.
- Generous 1.5m length gives your dog room while you stay in control.
- Weather-resistant and hard-wearing for daily walks.
- Strong metal D-ring for a poo bag dispenser or keys.
- Made in the UK from recycled webbing, in plastic-free, widely recyclable packaging.
- Machine washable at 30°C.
Suitable For
- Dogs up to 50kg.
- Dogs that are nervous of people or other dogs and need a calm approach and extra space.
- Everyday walks and training sessions.
- For a dog that may react, Ancol's red CAUTION lead sends a stronger message. For a dog that should not meet other dogs at all, there is an orange NO DOGS lead.
How to Use
- Clip the trigger hook to your dog's collar or harness ring and check it has closed fully before setting off.
- Hold the handle loop and keep some lead in hand, so you can shorten up quickly if someone approaches.
