Agrifence Line to Line Connector for Tape – 40mm
This is the connector for joining one run of 40mm tape to another where the electrical quality of the join matters. Agrifence build it around strong aluminium plates that will not corrode, clamping the full width of both tape ends so the conductive filaments are picked up across the whole 40mm rather than at a folded overlap.
Aluminium is the point. A steel fitting on an outdoor tape join corrodes, resistance climbs and the fence loses volts a season later without anything visibly wrong. This one keeps its contact, which is why it belongs at the joins that carry power onward rather than the ones that simply patch a break.

How to Use
- Switch the energiser off before working on the line.
- Trim both tape ends square and lay them flat into the connector, overlapping fully.
- Close the plates down evenly across the whole 40mm width.
- Check nothing is folded, twisted or standing proud of the body.
- Restore power and compare the voltage each side of the join with a fence tester.
