Agrifence Super Gate Anchor – H4847
A gateway breaks the fence line, and something has to carry the current across the gap and give the gate handle a fixed point to hook onto. The Super Gate Anchor is Agrifence's premium answer: a screw-in insulator with a steel loop that both anchors the handle and keeps power continuity through the opening.
Agrifence recommend it for permanent fencing rather than temporary set-ups, and the screw-in fixing is the reason — driven into sound timber it stays where it is put, season after season, under the repeated pull of a gateway being opened and shut.

How to Use
- Switch the energiser off before fitting.
- Screw the anchor into sound timber on each side of the gateway, at the height of the live line.
- Bring the fence conductor to the anchor on the supply side and make the connection so current passes through.
- Hook the gate handle into the steel loop on the far side.
- Check the voltage beyond the gateway once the fence is live — a gateway is the first place a fence loses power.
