Purple is the colour to pick when a yard runs more than one gateway and people need to be told apart at a glance which line is which. It is an unmistakable colour on a green field, and it is the same Agrifence Standard Plus fitting as the rest of the range — an insulated handle connection with an internal extension spring holding tension on the line.

The extension spring is what stops a gate line sagging into the grass, where it shorts out and takes the whole fence down with it. As the handle hooks on, the spring pulls the gap tight; every time the gate is opened and closed, it takes up the slack again rather than letting it accumulate.

How to Use

• Set the anchor at one post and hook the handle on from the opposite side.
• Grip the insulated body, never the hook or the conductor.
• Control the spring as it takes up, and again as you release it.
• Step clear of the line as it springs back after unhooking.
• Isolate the energiser before installing or altering the gateway.

• Hold the insulated body only. The hook and the line beyond it carry the fence pulse.
