Agrifence Rope Joiner/Connector, Stainless Steel – 5 Pack

Agrifence Rope Joiner – Stainless Steel, Pack of 5
A clamp for joining electric fence rope up to 6mm, Agrifence code H5388, supplied here five to a pack. Braided rope is the material of choice for horse fencing because it does not flap and it does not cut, but it has one weakness: a knotted join loses most of its conductivity.
This clamp gets round that by holding the two rope ends in direct metal contact, so the pulse crosses the join rather than dying at it. Five in a pack means a spare or two in the fence bag for the day a rope parts in the middle of a paddock.
Performance & Benefits
- Joins electric fence rope up to 6mm diameter.
- Clamped metal-to-metal contact, so voltage carries across the join.
- Five per pack, enough for repairs and for joining reels.
- Corrosion-resistant, for a joint that stays outdoors permanently.
- Quick enough to fit in the field with the rope still in the insulators.
Suitable For
- Braided electric fence rope up to 6mm, including Agrifence Easyrope 6 and Maxicord.
- Repairing a rope broken by wind, stock or a strimmer.
- Joining the end of one reel to the start of the next.
- Horse paddocks fenced in rope rather than tape.
- Not the joiner for polywire or thin wire under 3mm — the Agrifence Polywire Joiner is sized for those.
How to Use
- Switch the energiser off before working on the line.
- Trim both rope ends back to clean, unfrayed braid.
- Feed both ends into the clamp and tighten until neither can be pulled free.
- Site the join in a clear span, not inside an insulator or against a post.
- Check the voltage on both sides of the join with a fence tester before leaving.
Specification
- Agrifence product code H5388. Barcode 5052150002316.
- Supplied as a pack of 5. Agrifence list the joiner as a single item.
- Capacity: rope up to 6mm diameter.
- Agrifence name this the Stainless Steel Rope Joiner but describe the clamp as galvanised steel in their own product text; they publish no single, consistent material specification, so none is asserted here.
- Agrifence publish no clamp dimensions or breaking load, so neither is stated here.
