Duo 6 Mounting Post & Earth Stake
This dual-purpose mounting post is designed specifically for the Duo 6 and also functions as an earth stake. Manufactured from hardened steel for strength and durability, it is compatible with the Dual Power Energiser range. The stake comes in two sections, making it easier to transport and store.
Testing Your Earth System
To check the effectiveness of your earth connection, use a voltmeter:
- Place the positive (live) terminal on the earth stake.
- Insert the negative probe into the ground.
- A reading above 300 volts indicates that the earth system is insufficient.
If the reading exceeds 300V, you should install a longer earth stake and/or add additional stakes.
Installation Guidelines
- Install earth stakes in consistently moist ground.
- Position earth stakes at least 15 metres away from any domestic earthing systems.
- Higher-powered energisers and longer fence lines require improved earthing.
- As a general guideline, allow 1 metre of earth rod per joule of energiser output. For example, a 2-joule energiser should have 2 metres of earth rod installed.
- When using multiple earth stakes, space them at least 3 metres apart and connect them using insulated lead-out cable.
- For optimal performance, the voltage reading on the earth stake should remain below 300V.

Delivery Attempts and Notifications
If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.

You can choose to have your parcel left in a safe place or with a neighbour.
