Agrifence Spare Crocodile Clips – 2 Pack
Two heavy duty replacement crocodile clips, one green and one red, sold to refit a set of energiser or battery leads whose original clips have given up. The two colours exist so that each connection can be recognised at a glance, which matters more than it sounds when live and earth look identical at the end of a wet afternoon.
Clips fail before cable does. The jaw spring softens, the plating wears through and the contact area picks up a film of oxide, and the result is a lead that reads fine with a meter but drops voltage under load. New clips on sound cable are a five-minute repair.

- Not suitable for the Eco Dual Power energisers' moulded battery leads, which are supplied as a sealed assembly under code H8006.
How to Use
- Cut the old clip off close to its barrel, leaving as much cable as you can.
- Strip about 10mm of insulation, twist the strands and secure them under the clip's screw or crimp.
- Slide the insulating boot over the joint before you make it, not after.
- Fit the red clip to the live lead and the green to the earth, and keep to that convention across the whole setup.
