The heaviest pallet in the Bedsoft range: 24 bales at 20kg each, 480kg of kiln-dried softwood shavings in a single delivery. At this quantity the saving is as much in handling as in money — one drop instead of a fortnightly trip for bales.

The shavings are the same as the single-bale product: predominantly spruce, in a mix of larger and smaller shavings, screened and dust-extracted by Bedsoft to remove fine particles. Because shavings are inedible, a pallet is also the sensible way to bed a yard that includes a horse which would otherwise eat straw.
