Carnilove Cat Pouch Pheasant with Raspberry Leaves 85g

Carnilove Cat Pouch – Pheasant with Raspberry Leaves, 85g

Pheasant fillets at 14% with 1% dried raspberry leaves, in an 85g pouch for adult cats. Of the five pouches in this range it carries the most fibre at 1.0%, and protein sits at 9.5% against 80.0% moisture.

As with the rest of the range, the bulk of the meat is turkey — 66% turkey and 10% turkey liver within the 90% fillet content — so the pheasant is the accent rather than the substance. Worth knowing before buying it as a game recipe for a poultry-sensitive cat.

Performance & Benefits

• 90% meat and organs in fillets; 14% of that is pheasant.
• 1% dried raspberry leaves, a traditional inclusion in the Carnilove herb range.
• 9.5% crude protein and 4.8% fat at 865 kcal/kg.
• Crude fibre 1.0%, the highest of the five pouches in this range.
• Taurine added; grain-free with no soy, sugar or artificial preservatives.
• Single 85g serving, so a portion is a portion.

Suitable For

• Adult cats of all breeds.
• Adding wet food to a diet that is mostly kibble.
• Cats that prefer fillets they can pick at to a smooth pâté.
• Not a pheasant-only or poultry-free food — turkey and turkey liver make up 76% of the fillets. For a genuinely bird-free diet, look at Carnilove ACTIVE Beef & Venison for Sterilised Cats.

Feeding

• Carnilove's guide for adult cats: a 3kg cat 3.5 pouches a day, a 4–6kg cat 4–4.5, a 6–8kg cat 4.5–5.
• That is as a sole diet. Cut the number back in proportion if dry food is also fed.
• Serve at room temperature rather than straight from the fridge.
• An opened pouch keeps in the fridge for up to three days, or can be frozen.
• Feed alongside fresh water; wet food supplies moisture but does not replace a water bowl.

Composition & Analysis

• Composition: 90% meat and organs in fillets (66% turkey, 14% pheasant, 10% turkey liver), 4.5% water, 1.5% calcium carbonate, 1% dried raspberry leaves, 1% linseed oil, 1% lignocellulose, 1% pea flour.
• Analytical constituents: crude protein 9.5%, crude fat 4.8%, crude fibre 1.0%, crude ash 2.5%, moisture 80.0%, calcium 0.2%, phosphorus 0.2%, sodium 0.3%, omega-3 0.2%, omega-6 1.5%.
• Metabolisable energy 865 kcal/kg.
• Nutritional additives include taurine at 1,400 mg/kg, vitamin D3, vitamin E, biotin and chelated trace elements.
• Carnilove name these pouches after the 14% ingredient, not the main one. Turkey and turkey liver together make up 76% of the fillet content, so a pouch of this kind cannot serve as a single-protein or turkey-free food.
