Symply Little is a complete wet meal in a 100g tray, built around 65% freshly prepared chicken with carrots and cranberries. The tray size is the whole point of it: a small dog gets a sealed, whole portion at each meal rather than a part-used tin going back into the fridge, and there is no grain anywhere in the recipe.

It is worth being plain about what this is, because it is easily mistaken for a snack. Symply Little is food, not a training reward — fed to Symply's own guide it is a balanced daily diet in its own right, and it works equally well spooned over dry kibble to tempt a dog that has gone off its bowl.

Feeding

• Feed as a complete meal — nothing needs adding to it for the diet to be balanced
• Symply's guide runs from about two to three trays a day for a 3kg dog up to six to seven trays a day for a 12kg dog
• Split the daily amount across two meals and adjust by roughly 10% either way on condition
• Introduce over seven days: 25% Symply on day one, 50% on day three, 75% on day five, 100% by day seven
