Carnilove Turkey & Salmon Paté Can – Adult Cats, 100g

A smooth paté in a 100g can, with turkey at 47% and salmon at 20% — 67% meat and fish between them, and nothing else above 2%. Pea flour at 2% is the only starch, cranberries at 1% and lignocellulose at 1% round it out, and calcium carbonate at 0.3% balances the minerals against the phosphorus in the fish.

This is a complete food rather than a topper, so it carries the full additive pack: taurine at 800mg/kg, vitamin D3, vitamin E, biotin and a trace element set. At 79% moisture it is a useful way of getting water into a cat that does not drink much — which matters more in a cat than in most animals.

Feeding

• Cats of 1–5kg, fed as the complete diet: 160–300g a day, so roughly two to three cans.
• Fed as half the diet alongside a dry food: 80–150g a day.
• Serve at room temperature rather than straight from the fridge — cats refuse cold food more often than dogs do.
• Cover an opened can, refrigerate it and use within two days.
• Fresh water available at all times, even on a wet diet.
