Carnilove Turkey, Reindeer & Wild Boar Paté Can – 400g

Three game meats in one 400g can: turkey at 50%, reindeer at 10% and wild boar at 7%, made up as a smooth paté. Blackcurrant at 2% and pea flour at 2% are the only plant ingredients of any size, with lignocellulose at 1% providing the fibre and calcium carbonate at 0.3% balancing the minerals. There are no cereals or potato in it.

It is a complete food, so it can be fed alone rather than as a topper, and at 1,130 kcal/kg it is one of the more energy-dense cans in the range. Carnilove fortify it with taurine at 800mg/kg, vitamin D3, vitamin E and a full trace element pack, which is what separates a complete can from a complementary one.

Feeding

• Carnilove's guide for small and medium dogs runs from about 100g a day at 1kg bodyweight up to about 1,090g a day at 25kg.
• Large dogs of 25kg and over: roughly 1,090–2,605g a day, fed as a complete diet.
• Halve those amounts if you are feeding it alongside a dry food.
• Serve at room temperature and split the day's ration across two meals.
• Cover an opened can, keep it refrigerated and use it within two days. Fresh water at all times.
