At 82% moisture and 800 kcal/kg it is one of the lightest things in the range, which makes it a sensible everyday wet food for a cat that does not need the calories but does need the water.

Read the composition before you buy it on the name. The 85% meat fillets are 71% chicken and 14% turkey — turkey is the flavour note, not the base. Carnilove's own product copy describes the turkey as hypoallergenic, which sits oddly against a recipe that is mostly chicken, so treat this as a chicken food with turkey in it.

Feeding

• One 85g pouch per serving. Serve at room temperature with fresh water alongside.
• 3kg cat: 2 pouches daily as a complete food.
• 4–6kg cat: 3–4 pouches daily.
• 6–8kg cat: 4–6 pouches daily.
• Halve the amount if you are also feeding dry food.
• Change over gradually across 5–7 days. Refrigerate an opened pouch and use within 3 days.
