Barrier Super Plus Fly Repellent – 1 Litre

Super Plus is Barrier's best-selling repellent, and the litre trigger bottle is the working size: enough to do a horse properly morning and evening through the weeks when the midges are at their worst, without running dry halfway through July.

Behind it sits Eucalyptus citriodora oil, hydrated and cyclised, at 1.5% w/w in a base of concentrated herbal oils, volatile essential oils and pure avocado oil. Barrier describe Super Plus as the UK's most popular DEET-free fly, midge and bot repellent, and state there is no citronella and no vinegar in the formula.

How to Use

• Always shake well before use.
• Spray liberally over the body, avoiding the eyes and nasal passages.
• Use a cloth for the face rather than spraying towards it.
• Apply as and when required rather than to a set timetable.
• Patch test first on a thin-skinned or sensitive horse, pony or donkey.
