Citromax is the natural-actives repellent in the Carr & Day & Martin fly range. The active is Citriodiol, produced from Eucalyptus Citriodora oil, carried in a water-based formula — so there is no DEET in it and no solvent smell, which is the point of choosing it over the Flygard Extra Strength line.
It is the gentler option rather than the strongest one, and Carr & Day & Martin describe it as a gentle yet effective formula giving instant protection against midges and all flying and biting insects. Applied twice daily it covers a normal turnout day. It is a licensed biocide, so it needs the same respect as any other — read the label, and patch test before the first full application.

How to Use
- Shake well before use.
- Spray liberally onto the horse, or apply with a cloth.
- Use a cloth rather than a spray around the head and face.
- Apply twice daily for maximum protection.
- If using for the first time, test on a small area of skin 24 hours before general use to establish suitability.

Delivery Attempts and Notifications
If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.
