The Medium is the size most yards own several of: 26 litres held in a body 30cm deep, 38.5cm across the rim and 28cm across the base. That is deep enough to carry water without slopping and wide enough to sweep straight into, which the shallower tubs are not.

Orange is the high-visibility choice, and on a working yard that is a practical argument rather than a decorative one — an orange tub left in a gateway or behind a trailer gets seen. Red Gorilla previously sold this range as the Tubtrug; the tub itself is unchanged.

How to Use

• Carry it by both handles when full; 26 litres of water is around 26kg.
• Squeeze the rim into a lip to pour, and let the flexible wall hold the shape as it empties.
• Rinse and upend to drain. It stacks inside another Medium for storage.
• In a hard frost, flex the sides to break ice free rather than striking the tub.

• Red Gorilla describe the Medium as weather resistant. The frost-proof and UV-proof wording they use for the Small Shallow does not appear on the Medium's own listing, so it is not claimed here.
• Red Gorilla publish no tub weight and no tested handle load. Figures of around 1.4kg and EU-tested 100kg handles appeared on this listing previously; they are not Red Gorilla's and are not repeated.
