Tiny Friends Farm Stickles with Carrot & Broccoli – 100g

Of the two Stickles flavours we stock, this is the vegetable one, and it carries a far higher inclusion of its headline ingredient than most small-animal treats manage: dried carrot at 11%, more than a tenth of the stick by weight. Dried broccoli is included at 0.9%, which Supreme state is equivalent to 7% fresh broccoli before drying.

The format is the same baked stick as the rest of the range, made to be hung in a hutch or cage so the animal pulls and gnaws at it. Ground Timothy hay is in the recipe here too, though Supreme do not put a figure on it in this flavour as they do in the herb version.

Feeding

• One treat per week, depending on the size of your pet, is the rate Supreme publish.
• Hang the stick in the enclosure, or break it and hand-feed a piece at a time.
• Keep hay and fresh drinking water available at all times.
• Reduce the day's main feed a little on treat day if your animal gains weight easily.
• Take out anything left hanging for more than a day or two in a damp hutch.
