Simple System Lucie Brix – 20kg
Brix are 100% straight forage compressed into 1kg blocks, and the idea behind them is simple: put them on the floor and a horse eats them the way it would graze — head down, working at it, taking its time. Lucie Brix are pure lucerne, so they bring the protein and calcium of the lucerne range in a format that occupies a horse rather than disappearing in ninety seconds.
They work three ways. As an occasional treat, as the daily portion of chop, or as enrichment — which is where they earn their keep, because a stabled horse on box rest or a horse away at a competition will work at a Brix for a long time.

Suitable For

Feeding
- Feed whole and dry. Place at ground level, on the floor or in a feed bucket, in the field or stable.
- One block weighs approximately 1kg.
- Use up to 1 block per 100kg bodyweight daily — up to 5 blocks for a 500kg horse.
- Feed according to requirements and condition.
Composition & Analysis
- Composition: 100% dried lucerne. 20kg, supplied as 1kg blocks.
- Crude protein 14–18%. Crude fibre 25–35%. Sugar under 7%. Starch under 5%.
- No vitamins are added; the forage carries them naturally. Seasonal variation occurs and each bag details the batch analysis.
Care & Caution
- Brix require good teeth. Simple System do not recommend them for older or dentally challenged horses — soaked pellets such as HayCare are the better option.

Order Processing
Orders processed before 10am will be shipped the same day. Orders processed after 10am will be shipped the next working day.
Tracking Your Order
When your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number by email. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking information to update on the carrier’s website.
You will also receive a notification when your parcel is out for delivery.
If item is not delivered in 5 working days , contact us with your inquiry.
Delivery Attempts and Notifications
If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.

You can choose to have your parcel left in a safe place or with a neighbour.
