Gorilla Tub Small Shallow 15L – Green

Fifteen litres spread across a 39.5cm opening and only 16cm deep gives the Small Shallow a footprint that will not tip: the 32cm base is nearly as wide as the rim. That is why it ends up as the vegetable-washing, root-trimming, muddy-boot tub as often as it ends up in a feed room.

Green needs a caveat. Red Gorilla state that all Gorilla Tubs are BPA free with the exception of black, green and yellow, so this one sits outside that claim even though it is still moulded from food-grade LDPE. For garden and produce work that is immaterial; for feed and drinking water it is worth knowing before you choose.

How to Use

• Set it on the floor and work straight out of it — at 16cm deep nothing sits out of reach.
• Carry it two-handed and reasonably level; the low sides mean water slops out well before the tub is full.
• Stack empties inside one another to store a set of them flat under a shelf.
• Wash in warm water with a mild detergent and turn upside down to drain; the smooth interior wipes clean.
• Flex the sides to pop out frozen water or set feed rather than banging the rim on a wall.
