Red Gorilla Plas S1 Small Feed Skip 11L – Pistachio

Pistachio is the pale green in the S1 range, and the most useful colour on it for one practical reason: against a light background you can see at a glance whether the skip has actually been rinsed out or has yesterday's feed dried into it.

The skip is 11 litres, 40cm wide and 13.5cm deep, moulded in Gorilla Plas — a food-safe LLDPE made with recycled plastics. It does not absorb feed or water, it is frost and UV proof, and Red Gorilla put it at around 60% of the weight of the rubber skip it replaces.

How to Use

• Stand it on level ground for feeding; the wide 40cm base is what stops it being nosed across the stable.
• Lift by both moulded handles and tip forward to empty rather than scraping it out.
• Rinse after every feed — the non-absorbent surface releases residue with water alone, without needing to be scrubbed.
• Stack skips inside one another to store, and keep them off the ground in a hard frost.
