Dodson & Horrell Pasture Mix – 20kg
The original oat-free coarse mix, and still the one most people mean when they ask for a non-heating mix. At an estimated 10 MJ/kg with 9.5% protein and 15% fibre it is pitched at light to medium work, and the oat-free formulation with cooked cereals is what gives it a steadier energy release than a traditional grain mix.
Cooking the cereals matters more than the ingredient list suggests: it improves small intestinal starch digestion, which means less starch reaching the hindgut, and that is where a lot of fizzy behaviour actually originates. Alongside that it carries added L-lysine for muscle, extra biotin and magnesium, and dried carrot, mint, garlic and oregano to keep it going down well.

Feeding
- Feed 400g–1kg per 100kg bodyweight per day with free access to forage.
- Do not exceed 1kg per 100kg bodyweight per day in total.
- Divide into at least two to three meals a day.
- Maintain a minimum forage intake of 2kg per 100kg bodyweight per day.
- Introduce gradually over seven to ten days.

Delivery Attempts and Notifications
If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.
