Dodson & Horrell Barley Rings – 15kg
Cooked barley and full fat linseed pressed into rings, which is the modern answer to the old yard job of boiling barley and linseed on a stove. At an estimated 13.5 MJ/kg with 6.5% oil and 11.5% protein this is a genuine conditioning feed rather than a token warm mash, and it is aimed squarely at adult horses and ponies that need to put weight on.
Where it differs from a traditional mash is the fortification. Straight barley is badly out of balance on calcium and short on several trace elements; these rings are balanced with limestone flour and a vitamin and trace mineral premix, so adding them does not skew the rest of the ration. They can be fed dry or soaked into a soft, palatable mash.

Suitable For

Feeding
- Feed 400g–1kg per 100kg bodyweight per day with free access to forage.
- Do not exceed 1kg per 100kg bodyweight per day in total.
- Divide into at least two to three meals a day.
- Maintain a minimum forage intake of 2kg per 100kg bodyweight per day.
- Soak with warm water to make a mash, or feed the rings dry.

Delivery Attempts and Notifications
If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.
