The pellets are naturally sweet and highly palatable, which tempts fussy feeders, and rich in digestible fibre for slow-release energy that is gentle on the digestive system. They soak down quickly into a soft mash, making them well suited to veterans and to horses with dental problems such as diastemas. They can also be fed dry or used in snack balls to encourage trickle feeding through a stabled day.

Feeding

• Can be fed dry in controlled amounts.
• Always soak if feeding as the sole feed, or for horses with dental difficulties.
• Soak 1 part pellets to 4 parts water: roughly 2 hours cold, 15 minutes hot, or overnight if needed.
• One standard scoop is approximately 1.5kg dry.
• Always ensure free access to clean, fresh water.

Care & Caution

• Soak fresh for each feed and do not leave soaked pellets standing in warm weather, as they ferment.
