Dengie Alfa-A Original – 20kg
A high-fibre feed made from pure alfalfa, giving 10 MJ/kg of digestible energy with just 2% starch. It is the original of the Dengie Alfa-A range and the gentlest in energy terms, suiting horses in work, breeding stock and youngstock alike.
Alfalfa is precision dried rather than sun dried, which produces exceptionally clean fibre and locks in the natural nutrients that field drying loses. Its natural buffering properties help maintain a healthy stomach environment, and it is rich in quality protein for topline, muscle development and condition. A light molasses coating keeps it palatable for fussy feeders — the trade-off being 12% sugar, notably higher than the molasses-free version.

Care & Caution
- Molasses coated, giving 12% sugar. Not suitable for laminitics — choose Alfa-A Molasses Free instead.
- Not a complete feed. Feed alongside a balancer or vitamin and mineral supplement.

If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.
