Hy Equestrian Grazing Muzzle – Black, Full, Nylon with Rubber Base
£19.95
Hy Equestrian Grazing Muzzle in Black, Size Full, for Horses and Ponies
The Hy Equestrian Muzzle is a nylon grazing muzzle designed to slow the rate at which a horse or pony eats grass at turnout. This black version is size Full.
It has a rubber base, a touch tape (hook and loop) closure on the headpiece and a clip throat lash, which make it quick to fit and help keep the muzzle in place. A ring is fitted so a lead rope can be attached. It is a practical choice for good doers and horses on restricted grazing.
Performance & Benefits
- Slows grazing to help restrict grass intake at turnout
- Hard-wearing nylon construction with a rubber base
- Touch tape closure headpiece for quick, adjustable fitting
- Clip throat lash helps keep the muzzle securely in place
- Lead rope ring for leading while the muzzle is fitted
Suitable For
- Horses and ponies that need a Full size muzzle
- Good doers and horses on a restricted grazing plan
- Horses and ponies advised by a vet to limit grass intake
- Daily turnout in the field or paddock
How to Use
- Check the size guide and fit so there is room for the horse to open its mouth, drink and breathe freely
- Adjust the headpiece and throat lash so the muzzle sits securely without rubbing
- Introduce gradually and supervise until the horse has learned to graze and drink with it on
