Equimins Country Living Vital Vits Plus – 250ml

Vital Vits Plus is a concentrated liquid of vitamins, minerals and amino acids that goes into the drinking water rather than onto the feed. Being liquid, it is taken up quickly, which is why it is reached for around the moments that knock birds about — a move, a change of feed, the first weeks of an ex-commercial hen in a new run.

It is a short-course product, not a daily addition. Equimins' own rate is 10ml per 10 litres of water for five to ten days, repeated every twenty to thirty days, and the vitamin A and D concentrations are the reason that limit exists.

Feeding

• Administer 10ml — two teaspoons — per 10 litres of drinking water.
• Continue for five to ten days.
• Repeat every twenty to thirty days if needed, rather than running it continuously.
• Mix fresh each day and make sure treated water is the only water available, or birds will drink elsewhere.

• Per litre, Equimins declare: vitamin A 12,000,000 iu, vitamin B1 2,000mg, vitamin B6 1,200mg, vitamin C 4,000mg, vitamin E 3,200mg, vitamin K 800mg, calcium pantothenate 4,000mg.
• Amino acids: L-tryptophan, lysine, glycine, alanine, valine, leucine, isoleucine, cystine, methionine, phenylalanine, serine, proline, threonine, tyrosine, histidine, arginine, glutamic acid and aspartic acid.
• Minerals: calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and zinc.

Care & Caution

• Vitamins A and D are fat-soluble and accumulate. Keep to Equimins' five to ten day course rather than dosing continuously.
