Saracen Condition-Improver Mix – 20kg

Condition-Improver Mix is a calorie-dense, oat-free conditioning feed designed to support weight gain, muscle development and coat condition. It combines micronised cereals for digestibility, super-fibres for hindgut health and high oil levels for energy and shine, making it a strong choice for poor doers and horses that need to build condition without excess starch.

The formulation includes Equi-Jewel®, a high-fat stabilised rice bran rich in essential fatty acids, which promotes condition alongside excellent skin and coat health. Quality protein supplies lysine, methionine and threonine for muscle development and recovery, while added live yeast supports gut health and fibre digestion.

Feeding

• Introduce gradually over 7–10 days.
• Feed according to bodyweight, workload and condition.
• Offer a chaff or forage meal 30 minutes before the concentrate feed.
• Dampen and mix well with chaff. Always allow free access to clean, fresh water.

Care & Caution

• Starch sits at 23%. Not suitable for horses prone to laminitis or tying-up.
• Oat-free but not cereal-free — contains barley and maize.
