This is the liquid, non-aerosol member of the Total Mite Kill range: 750ml of ready-to-use permethrin solution in a trigger bottle, with nothing to dilute. It goes onto every surface of an emptied, cleaned coop, and Nettex describe it as an insecticide and disinfectant cleaner rather than a spray-and-go treatment.

The liquid format is the one to reach for on a full clean-out, where you want to wet every joint and crevice rather than fog the air. Red mite hide in exactly those places by day, so coverage is what decides whether a treatment works.

How to Use

• Remove birds, eggs, feed, and eating and drinking utensils before you start.
• Remove all bedding and clean the housing thoroughly.
• Spray directly onto all surfaces including the underside of the roof, taking particular care in hard-to-reach areas, cracks and crevices.
• Leave to dry fully — Nettex say at least two hours — before returning birds to the housing.
• Repeat as part of a routine cleaning programme rather than only during an outbreak.

• Permethrin is highly toxic to cats and to fish. Keep it away from both, and do not let run-off reach a pond or watercourse.
