Equimins Country Living Hen House Freshener – 2kg

This is a dry powder disinfectant rather than a spray or a scent: a mix of absorbents with Microlat disinfectant blended through it, sprinkled straight onto a swept coop floor. The absorbent side takes up damp, and it is damp litter that generates the ammonia you smell when you open a house on a still morning.

Equimins position it as a between-cleans product. It does not replace stripping and scrubbing the house, but it keeps a coop civil in the days when a full clean is not going to happen.

How to Use

• Sweep the housing floor clean first.
• Sprinkle the powder as desired over the swept floor, then re-bed as normal.
• Reapply as often as required to keep odours down.
• Continue with full clean-outs as usual; this supplements them rather than replacing them.
• Store the tub at 10–20°C with the lid on.
