Pet Head Ditch the Dirt Deodorising Shampoo – Orange, 300ml

Ditch the Dirt is the deodorising shampoo in the Pet Head range, and it works on a different principle from a plain wash. Charcoal powder does the lifting — it attracts dirt and oils out of the coat rather than simply foaming over them — while orange peel oil deals with the smell that is left behind and rosemary leaf extract goes to work on the hair itself.

The fragrance is orange sanguine: red orange and bitter orange over jasmine, geranium, amber, tonka bean and sandalwood. It is a proper deodorising shampoo rather than a scented one, which makes it the bottle to reach for after a dog has rolled in something, not the one for a routine top-up.

How to Use

• Wet the coat through with warm water.
• Work the shampoo in and massage it down to the skin, avoiding the eyes and ears.
• Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.
• Towel dry or blow dry, and follow with the Ditch the Dirt Conditioner if wanted.

Care & Caution

• Avoid the eyes and ears while massaging, and rinse the coat thoroughly afterwards.
