It is the one bottle in the range carrying their Puppy scent rather than the Signature fragrance — a baby powder note that is the reason it keeps getting bought long after the puppy has grown up.

Underneath the scent it is a mild, deep cleaning formulation on the same non-sulphate base as the rest of the range, with a built-in conditioner and panthenol, pH balanced for dog skin. Animology mark it puppy friendly from six weeks and state the formulation is 100% vegan.

How to Use

• Wet the coat thoroughly with warm water — warm, not hot; puppies chill fast.
• Apply and work into a lather from the neck down, avoiding the eyes and ears.
• Animology recommend leaving the lather on for five minutes before rinsing, though on a wriggling puppy less is realistic.
• Rinse completely, repeat if needed, and towel dry in a warm room.

Care & Caution

• Keep it out of the eyes and ear canals. A puppy will not hold still, so lather from the neck down and wipe the face with a damp cloth instead.
• Rinse until the water runs clear, then dry properly. A damp puppy loses heat quickly.
• Declares the fragrance allergen coumarin. If a puppy comes up sore after a bath, switch to the fragrance-free Animology Derma Dog.
