Gorilla Tub Small Shallow 15L – Blue

The Small Shallow takes 15 litres in a body just 16cm deep and 39.5cm across the top, sitting on a 32cm base. It holds fractionally more than the Small 14L but does an entirely different job: everything in it is visible and reachable, which is what you want when the tub is a working surface rather than a carrier.

Blue is the darker of Red Gorilla's two blues and the one most yards use as the default. In a shallow tub the colour matters practically as well as visually — dropped hoof picks, curry combs and clips show up against a plain, pale-lit interior far better than against a dark base, and blue keeps enough contrast for that.

• Not enough surface for a full muck-out; the Gorilla Tub Large Shallow 35L is the same shape at more than twice the volume.

How to Use

• Set it on the floor and work straight out of it — at 16cm deep nothing sits out of reach.
• Carry it two-handed and reasonably level; the low sides mean water slops out well before the tub is full.
• Stack empties inside one another to store a set of them flat under a shelf.
• Wash in warm water with a mild detergent and turn upside down to drain; the smooth interior wipes clean.
• Flex the sides to pop out frozen water or set feed rather than banging the rim on a wall.
