Simple System Veteran Balance+ – 15kg
Veteran Balance+ is a complete forage balancer with joint support built into it rather than sold separately. The joint ingredient is rosehip — a plant-derived alternative to the glucosamine and shellfish-derived compounds most joint products rely on, which matters if you would rather not feed those.
The base is sainfoin, which offers unique support to the hindgut, with cooked full fat linseed pushing oil to 11–13% for Omega 3. Sugar sits under 3% and starch under 4%, low enough to suit an older horse with PPID or Cushing's — a common combination with stiffness, and one where most joint feeds are ruled out on sugar alone.

Feeding
- Introduce gradually over a week, as with any new feed.
- Feed 100g per 100kg ideal (not actual) bodyweight per day, divided between two feeds — 500g daily for a 500kg horse.
- Quick soaking: use 2 to 2.5 parts water to 1 part feed.

- Composition: sainfoin, cooked full fat linseed, rosehip, seaweed meal, stabilised dried yeast, sodium chloride, spearmint.
- Crude protein 12–16%. Crude fibre 20–25%. Crude fat (oil) 11–13%. Crude ash 6–9%.
- Sugar under 3%. Starch under 4%.
- Major minerals: potassium 1.47%, chloride 1.12%, calcium 0.88%, sodium 0.47%, phosphorus 0.37%, sulphur 0.27%, magnesium 0.23%.
- Trace minerals: iron 543 mg/kg, manganese 52 mg/kg, zinc 46 mg/kg, copper 12 mg/kg, selenium under 0.1 mg/kg.

Delivery Attempts and Notifications
If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.
