Dengie Fresh Bed for Chickens – 50L Poultry Bedding
Dengie Fresh Bed has been specially developed in association with the British Hen Welfare Trust to keep hens warm, cosy, and healthy. Made from chopped, dust-extracted straw with the addition of natural pine oil, this bedding offers effective antibacterial and antifungal properties while providing a comfortable environment for your birds.
Unlike shavings or wood pellets, Fresh Bed composts quickly and easily, producing rich compost that’s perfect for the garden. Ideal for ex-battery hens, as well as other poultry such as ducks, geese, and pheasants.

Delivery Options
- YODEL Standard Delivery: 2-3 working days
- Express Delivery (DHL): 2-3 working days
- Christmas Delivery : Last shipping day will be 22nd Dec 2025.
Order Processing
Orders processed before 10am will be shipped the same day. Orders processed after 10am will be shipped the next working day.
Tracking Your Order
When your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number by email. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking information to update on the carrier’s website.
You will also receive a notification when your parcel is out for delivery.
If item is not delivered in 5 working days , contact us with your inquiry.
Delivery Attempts and Notifications
If you miss a delivery, please contact the carrier to arrange a re-delivery. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the parcel will be returned to us and a refund will be processed.

You can choose to have your parcel left in a safe place or with a neighbour.
Order Cancellations
Changed your mind? You may cancel your order by phone or email before it has been processed and dispatched. Once shipped, cancellations are no longer possible. However, you can return your order following our returns policy below.
