Pro-Yeast is a research-proven live yeast supplement that optimises fibre digestion, nutrient absorption and energy utilisation. It helps maintain a healthy hindgut environment and supports performance, health and condition in all horses and ponies, and is particularly useful for horses in training, travelling or competing.

Horses rely on fibre fermentation in the hindgut for energy, and that process needs an oxygen-free environment with a pH between 6.5 and 7. High-starch diets, rich grazing, stress or sudden feed changes can drop hindgut pH, leading to poor digestion, reduced performance, colic or hindgut acidosis. Pro-Yeast competes with lactic acid-producing microbes to reduce excess acid load, removes oxygen from the hindgut to favour fibre-digesting bacteria, and increases energy supply through volatile fatty acid production.
