Baileys Aqua-Aide is an advanced electrolyte supplement designed for all working horses that lose vital salts through sweating. Whether during training, competition, travelling, or hot weather, horses can quickly become dehydrated, leading to fatigue, muscle cramping, and reduced performance. Aqua-Aide helps maintain fluid and electrolyte balance to support hydration, stamina, and healthy muscle function.

This palatable formula contains key salts including sodium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium, calcium, plus dextrose to optimise absorption. It can be fed before, during, and after work or competition, on an ongoing basis, or whenever sweating occurs. Aqua-Aide may be administered in drinking water, wet feed, or sloppy mashes, making it versatile and easy to use.

Feeding Recommendations

• Mix 2 measures (30g) per litre of water and offer 1 litre of solution for every 20 minutes of sweating.

• For best results, administer within 1 hour after sweating has stopped.

• Can be pre-loaded up to 4 hours before work to prepare the horse’s system.

• If horses refuse electrolyte water, mix the same amount with sloppy feed and always provide fresh drinking water.

• Never give electrolytes without sufficient fluids.
