Allen & Page Weight Gain Mix Horse Feed, 20kg
Allen & Page Weight Gain Mix – 20kg
A high-energy micronised mix at 12.75 MJ/kg, built to put condition on a poor doer quickly. Micronising cooks the cereals and pulses, which improves digestibility and palatability, and the mix contains no pellets — it is all flaked and visible, which many horses take to more readily.
Peas, linseed and soya oil supply the calories and nutrients, and it comes into its own through winter and in the run-up to a show, when energy demands rise and condition is hardest to hold. It is a traditional cereal-based conditioning feed, so starch is high at 45% — that is what makes it effective, and also what makes it unsuitable for a good many horses.

Great feed
Easy shopping, fast delivery service and a great team behind the scene who help out and answer any questions I have.
Delivery price is the only thing that lets it down, it’s very very expensive now so I’m unsure how long I’ll be able to keep using the service for but whilst I’ve been using it, it’s been great
